Thank you, Benicia!

To everyone who knocked on doors, put up a yard sign, donated, shared a post, or simply stopped to talk with me at the Farmers Market: Thank you. It was a pleasure to meet so many of you and hear what makes Benicia such a great place to live.

Your priorities shaped my campaign. I started with deep concerns about Flock surveillance, privacy, and Flock's documented cooperation with ICE. But I heard many other concerns again and again: unchecked urban sprawl, runaway spending, roads in disrepair, and questions about the direction of our town.

Tonight's results weren't what we had hoped for. I ran because I believe Benicia deserves a council that defends our Fourth Amendment rights and personal liberty, respects taxpayers, maintains our roads, and preserves the character of our community.

Those convictions haven't changed.

For now, I'm going to take some time to reflect on this campaign, listen to residents, and consider where I can make the greatest difference.
